On a party taken of apparent simplicity, the pure lines and the enveloping shape were studied to support contrasts of textures. The ultra light front, produced in aluminium was designed like a mask, joining the lenses and the lamellate wooden bridge, in the same movement, on the same level, without rupture at its line. Fixed at the back of the front the wooden endpieces and temples are carved and formed, then polished for a long time and varnished in successive layers, until their veined finish becomes soft and sensual like an invitation to the touch. |
